Nicola Edmondson and Elizabeth Jones worked closely together for several years at leading London law firms before establishing Edmondson Jones LLP in 2021, focusing on providing bespoke wealth planning and succession advice. We work closely with individuals, their advisors, trust companies and family offices to provide efficient, practical and cost-effective solutions.
Nicola Edmondson
Nicola has over 12 years’ Private Client experience and provides pragmatic, tailored advice on a wide range of matters to both UK and non-UK domiciled individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs and business owners.
This includes the preparation of bespoke Wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and advising on all aspects of lifetime inheritance tax structuring, wealth and succession planning.
She has developed expertise in advising philanthropic individuals on the creation, governance and administration of charities, with a special interest in grant-making foundations and charities operating overseas.
She also has extensive experience in advising settlors, trustees and beneficiaries of heritage and family trusts on matters including trustees’ duties, administration, governance and compliance. Nicola also provides property trust advice in relation to inheritance tax planning and investment properties.
In her spare time Nicola enjoys chasing her children down ski slopes and trying not to fall off her paddleboard into the Thames.
Elizabeth Jones
Liz has over 18 years’ experience heading Private Client teams and assisting high net worth individuals and business owners with their inheritance tax and succession planning. This includes the preparation of tailored and tax efficient wills, structured lifetime wealth and succession planning, the creation of trusts and the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
She provides advice to trustees both on and offshore, and works closely with trust companies, investment managers, family offices and private banks in providing her clients with a tailored service. This includes providing bespoke property trust advice in relation to purchasing U.K. property, advising on property ownership for minor children and trust deeds for joint owners to record differing contributions to the purchase price.
Having previously worked for an Anglo Nordic firm, she has built strong links with the Nordic community, has a broad Scandinavian client base and a strong background in advising non- UK domiciled clients.
Liz loves to play as much tennis as possible in her spare time and she also enjoys skiing, (despite being rescued by ski patrol on occasion!)
Lynsey Colman
Lynsey qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and specialises in Administration of Estates, Will drafting, Inheritance Tax planning and Powers of Attorney.
She has a wealth of experience in dealing with complex as well as simple estates and works with clients to complete the administration of estates as efficiently as possible.
She provides comprehensive advice that is easy to understand and explores the options available to clients to find the best solutions for them. She appreciates the need to work flexibly and responds promptly to meet clients’ needs.
She has obtained the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma in Administration of Estates and Trusts, Taxation of Trusts and Estates and Trust and Estate Accounting as well as the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation.
Lynsey enjoys spending time with her friends and family and is an active member of her local tennis and sports club.
Lisa Fay
Lisa lives in the Surrey countryside and is happy to travel to meet clients in their own homes or at their place of work.
In her spare time Lisa enjoys gardening, spending time with friends and family, and travelling extensively in the UK and abroad.
